“God will never fail you.”
Have you ever felt your faith journey was more like a ride on a roller coaster?
Life is filled with ups and downs, quick twists, and loopty loops. We keep long to turn the corner and hit a steady, uneventful stretch. As we gingerly turn the corner, we catch our breath, only to be launched into another dip, twist, or loop.
Life’s roller coaster leaves us hanging upside down, moving faster than we want to and filled with uncertainty about what is around the bend. We grip Jesus like the safety bars and hang on tighter and tighter, only to discover He is the One who securely holds us in His grip.
Life can be like a roller coaster ride, and our life with Christ doesn’t guarantee that the ride will always be smooth. But Jesus does promise to always be with us, and that He will never fail us.
“So if you are suffering in a manner that is pleasing to God, keep on doing what is right, and trust your lives to the God who created you, for He WILL NEVER FAIL YOU.” (1 Peter 4:19, NLT)
God’s Word Gives Hope Podcast and Blog are no different. We are experiencing a few twists and loops as Amy (my podcast partner and occasional contributor to the blog) and her family have moved to Montana. As they settle into their new adventure out West, God’s Word will be put on a short pause.
We will return with a new blog and episodes in our “Living Fearless” series based on Psalm 27.
When we will return is yet to be determined.

Meanwhile, we can all find comfort and direction in our roller coaster journeys from God’s Word.
