To the ends of the earth, God will go.
He promised.
He is not a God of certain types of people. Get that out of your head.
He is a God who will go to the ends of the earth to make sure you, not just certain people, but that you know how much He loves you.
He did.
Like the light at the break of dawn, the shining star guiding the way, the lighthouse on a stormy night, the blinding light on the road to Damascus, saying “I am Jesus.”
To the ends of the earth, God has gone when he became like us in the form of a human to know our pain and take our pain, to pierce our darkness with His Light.
“It is too small a thing for you to be my servant (Jesus) to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth” (Isaiah 49:6, NIV, parenthesis added).
Meditation: Jesus, You are my Light.
Reflect: What is blinding you from allowing God’s Light to pierce your darkness? Where do you need Jesus’ Light in your life? Do you believe Jesus has gone to the ends of the earth for you? Will you let Jesus be your light?
